    search assistant

I am getting this little white search assistant box at the bottom of my screen? Dunno where it came from? I right click and go into toolbars and deselect, but when i turn my laptop back on. There it is!!

How do i get rid of it permanently guys?

    Cheers

    (In XP)
Try going into the start menu, clicking on run, and typing in msconfig.
Then go to Startup, and scroll down the list looking for the search assistant program. Uncheck the checkbox to stop it loading when you turn on your computer.

    I hope this helps!

i wonder if this cause is something to do with the fact that when i load Ntsc sometimes the web page has an error and crashes??

              Used spyware but nothing.

I take it you have tried simply using add/remove programs?

I think thats a blaze search bar. Spybot or Ad-aware should be able to remove it for you.
