Or you could just get them from VG+ or some kind soul on here who would get one for you or is this merely a profiting arrangement? The cost of going to the states would seem a bit silly when you could just import them off US websites.

          Simple answer! Dont get caught!

or spread the load. You need to give specifics really. Like how many and size and stuff.

You'll get hit for 17.5% plus 5.25% [or whatever the rate for electronic goods is [its variable]] and if you don't fess up to them and get caught you could also get a decent sized fine [2K?]. In anycase I brought back 4 xboxes on one trip, 8 ipods on another and 45 DVD's on another trip to the US with no issues.

Spread them out over your packaging and bin (or post them home) the receipts.

Then just say you took them with you.

Whatever you do, DON'T DO THAT. The C+E people are not stupid. I'd go for it and if you do get stopped just say they are presents for your family and then offer to pay the tax.

Flatpack all the packaging, and keep the DS's loose in your luggage to decrease the likelyness of them thinking your are going to sell them :P

I think by the sounds of it better to just declare it and pass on the 25%. At the current $199.99 price point it means thats the DS costs about ?110. so around ?28 for VAT and Tax.

Its a safer option than getting caught or posting them from the US.
