TFT Cleaning

I have just got a TFT monitor and was wondering what i could use to clean the screen as there a few finger marks on it.

Wasnt sure about the old pledge that gets used on ma standard monitor lol

Don't know about the pledge cloth. It'd probably be fine, though.
There's a nice spray/cloth combination that my brother picked up at Staples. Works a treat on my GBA SP too

Why would you want to use polish on a computer screen???

TFT screens are meant to be dull so they don't have glare, dont
receive reflection or be shiny

Just rub it over with a clean soft cloth until the marks are gone.

don't use any chemicals. Dry dishtowel, and if there are stubborn marks wet one corner rub and then use the dry to clean.

On some TFTs and plasmas the outside has a coating that many chemical cleaners will take off, having seen this happen to a Plasma screen in our office its something you don't want.
