PC software 1450%! more bloated than MAC

Hey check this out, download the same program, the PC version takes
up 14.5 MB, but exactly the same software in MAC version takes up 1MB.

WTF?

It gets worse. Nip to GAME or something and grab a PC game, then install it. It literally takes up infinitely more space than the non-existent Mac version.

I dunno... a "standard" install of OSX, it's dev tools and docs and Office X weighs in at over 5GB

WinXP, Office and Visual Studio takes up less than that for sure.

Edit: Generally, most Mac programs have a bigger file size than Window programs. Or so i've seen in the last 4 year or so
