    F-Zero GP Legend and Hamtaro

The previous GBA title played more like the SNES version; GX played more like F-Zero X. So how does this game compare?

Generally do people think the game is any good.

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Hamtaro question sixth post down.

It has proper boosting now but apart from that, the handling is like the previous GBA game. Yea, it is a good game even if it is a tad on the easy side.

I liked it, more than Maxiumum Velocity, though alot don't seem to. The music rocks too, plenty of SNES and N64 tunes in there.

Cool, I always enjoyed the N64 tunes.

There's so much to this version too.
It has a "puzzle" mode (Zero Test) where you're given a scenario like 'take this corner at a speed above X without touching any barriers'. There are loads of different classes within this that you get gold, silver or bronze for, it's a welcome addition.

The cut scenes in the story mode are suitably cheesey like the the Cube version too, which is a good thing in my eyes They're perhaps a little redundant as they always seems to involve beating somebody in a race so aren't varied like the cube version, but story mode is still nice.

Perhaps a little easy if you've played other versions but it's still worth a purchase, especially for ?17ish off the likes of Tronix or VG+.

Just changed the title, as I also want to know something else.

Thanks for the impressions should hopefully be getting F-Zero soon.

On another note what are peoples impressions on Hamtaro games. So far I think two have had a PAL GBA release and another is coming out soon. Your experience doesn't have to be limited to just the GBA (I think it came out on the PSOne; don't know what other consoles).

I think Hamtaro has only been out on Gameboy as it's Nintendo made.
I have one for the GBC and one for the GBA. Both are RPG's and really good fun. They're a little strange as you can't die as such and revolve around you teaching the hamsters new words (Ham-chat) to progress. They're very quirky and I really enjoyed them. You also have to teach them songs and dress them up. The GBA one, Ham Ham Heartbreak, revolves around you making all the hamsters be friends and fall in love again after the bad hamster Spat made them fall out.
Visit Nintendo UK's official website for everything you need to know about Nintendo!

The new one, Ham Ham Games, I've yet to play. It's essentially Hamster Olympics and looks top. It's out in the UK now but not many places are stocking it
Personally I'm waiting for the US version in a weeks time when it's out.

The newist game, Rainbow Rescue is another RPG and out around Xmas time.

I was in town today and I went in to Gamestation and bought F Zero GP Legend. The sticker on it was ?29.99 but then went I went to the checkout the guy said that it was only ?14.99 Was utterly amazed that they sold it at half the price and it was brand new and sealed!

                Woot.
