Apart from buying the Salamander Deluxe Pack (PSX/Saturn) was this ever released on any other home system? I don't have a Saturn, and the PSX version is a bast to track down.

You could buy the arcade board.
Best thing to do is hunt down a Saturn and find the easier to find Saturn version of the game. Personally I don't like it as much as the original Salamander but each to their own. -
Agreed. The first game is superior, but I love the whole Gradius/Salamander series (bar Gradius IV). This of it is, I'm trying to reduce the amount of stuff I have, and I'm not sure I want to get a Saturn for just this one game.
I suppose I could go to eBay, but...
