    Sound prob with Saurian RGB Cable

    Hi, hopefully someone here will be able to help me, but my saurian modded gamecube RGB cable is making a buzzing sound (via the TV/Surround kit :P) it's not too noticible just thru the TV, but if I try hookin it up to my surround kit via the headphone jack the noise is unbearable and completely drowns out the acctual game sound, am I right in assuming it's prolly jus a wire thats come loose? If so what shud I do to fix it?

    All help appreciated it would decided to do this jus after I buy a couple of new cube games :/

    Rah - you could have just PM'd me, considering I built it! XD

    Carefully open the SCART connector, look at pins 2, 4 and 6 and make sure no shielding is touching anything. I dont leave much slack on any of the wires and they are cut to shape (as shown) so they wont move so dont pull anything when opening.

          Those bare ground wires saur? Naughty, you should cover them with shrink or tape at least... ^_^;

            the clasp is tight, and the wire length right.

            besides, I've seen what you do to Neo Geos...

              I heard Saurian doesn't do these anymore but is there anywhere else that does to a similarly high standard? I might even be able to supply a cable but I'm not up to wiring/soldering it! (more likely to start a second great fire of London...)

              Cheers!

                I've got one for sale man - someone asked me to make one last week so I ordered 2 sets of bits n' pieces which arrived today.

                  I've just got one and the pictures great, better than my mates component cable. Superb cable well built.

                  Ta again Saur
