    DC Arcade Sticks

Is thedre any attatchment or mod that can make the dc arcade stick usable on a ps2?

    There isnt

I've been taking the boards out of cheap Playstation joypads and hardwiring the DC stick and buttons to them.

There are some PS2 Hori sticks that are almost the same as the DC Arcade sticks.

If you want a universal stick, put a socket on the back of the dc stick then wire the buttons/ground to the pins, buy cheap pads and solder the connections to another socket, that way you can just plug whatever pad you need in.

on another note, Saur how do you connect the ps2 pads, im having to use a glue gun atm , as when i go near it with a soldering iron the wires in the pcb start to curl (and ive only got a weak soldering iron.)

You sure your iron is weak?

            I use a 12w Antex iron with a 1mm tip - never burns anything.

its the same as yours 12W, 1mm tip, hardly warms anything up except these cheap psone pads and the wire just disappeares as soon as i go near it (maybe these ?1.50 pads are extremely budget )

Maybe deep down im breaking them to give me a reason to buy a couple of those "Real arcade" Sticks that are out at the end of the week 8)

                Oh I get ya!

Bruv you want to be using a type of wire called Kynar (RS, whitedog and londonConsole sell it)

What I do is use a fibrepen to prepare the points on the PS pad PCB and wire from the buttons etc to the points on the pad PCB using Kynar instead of the wack wire they use.

I've never been hit by customs from Play-Asia: just avoid couriers if you can.

That DC stick mod looks mighty tasty...

I've got a CDZ (stop laughing at the back!) and I hhhhhhhhhhhate the pads and have never got round to buying sticks (or adapters for DC sticks) for it. I may well go for that mod...
