DVD Players. ?30 / ?80 player difference.

They are both much of a muchness tbh Ginza. I bought my Pa the Pioneer for xmas and can testify to it being a great machine.

I was using a cheaper DVD player on my TV before buying a projector. With the move round of kit the projector moved upstairs along with an all-in-one system, leaving me without a DVD downstairs with my better sound setup.

I bought a Marantz DV4300 for downstairs, the difference was noticable, but not that huge that I couldn't go back to a cheaper player.

I tried the DV4300 on the projector and was totally blown away, the difference was huge. Both players were progressive via component. I've since kept the DV4300 as the player upstairs and just use the all-in-one for sound.

From my experience you get what you pay for, although I'd consider the equipment you are going to use it with before forking out. Some of the setups on here seem to use some pretty crap TVs compared to the cost of the equipment/media being played through them.

Looks like I will be going for the Tosh DVD player then. Free delivery from TEH AMAZ1N(Amazon) aswell so you cant beat that.
