Tread carefully, I gather that Western Union is the preferred method of payment used by scammers - there's no way to get your money back once it's been sent, and it's ludicrously easy for anyone to collect the money at the other end, without having to provide much (if anything) in the way of personal identification.

Yeah I have already informed ebay about this person.

They gave me their address in Rome, which I checked on multimap and the post code didn't match the street address by a good lot, not really any chance of a typo. So I ain't sending no money, even if ebay don't do anything about it.

I sent him an e-mail asking about delivery charges and this is the reply I got:

          Dear sir ,

i`m an Uk citizan , but i work for this italian company . uwill not pay eney shipping taxes , price includs shipping taxes !

          best regards
He is either retarded, or not from the UK.

I decided not to send the money before I even read your post Yod@ but you have written it in stone now.

          Cheers for the help Yod@
