Doom3, where are you getting yours?

Ok I've posed this question a few times in other threads but with no reply. Hopefully a thread to it own will prompt a few responses?

As its release gets ever nearer I'm sure we're all looking forward to Doom 3.

The question is... where is everyone betting their copies from? I don't know about anyone else but I'd like to get it 'as soon as possible' ie we all know some retailers/online shops will start selling the title as soon as they receive it, rather then wait for its official release day.

So does anyone know whos most likely to start off loading copies as soon as their stock arrives?

It is likely some retail stores will sell the game as soon as they get it. If one breaks the release they all follow. So you should be able to get it sooner buying from a retail shop.

Amazon have never failed me with release day delivery, either have gameplay.com. I have mine ordered with Amazon.

As Ciaran says some stores are likely to put it up for sale as soon as they get it, I have a funny feeling most online stores will too.

They usually get games to you at least a day ( sometimes even two days ) in advance if you preorder.

My local indie are getting about 10 copies of the US version next Thursday, so I've got mine on order their.

I've got it on order from dvdboxoffice and vgc and a mate of mine in NYC is going to chuck a copy via fedex. I need two copies and the third I'm going to keep sealed.

Hmm, well it seems I'll go with either Amazon or Gameplay then.
