Hi Guys

I'm trying to choose what Japanese GBA game i'm going to get?. I had a look at play asia's selection and man theres some weird games out in japan. Anyway back on topic can u guys help me choose a Japanese GBA game im intrested in platform games,beat em up's, sport games and other types of games but i know not to choose rpg's because i dont know any japanese. If u guys can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Thanks Bowser m8 thats great but a quick question please?. Is there a lot of japanese text in those games u mentioned and are they still easy to play for people with no knowledge of japanese?.

All 3 of the games are perfectly playable with no knowledge of Japanese.

Starfi has lots of little cut scenes that help progress the story. Whilst the text that accompanies them is indecipherable you get the general gist. At the start of the game there is also a small tutorial that shows you, via on screen prompts, what each button does and how to pull of each move. Some of the puzzles would have been easier with language knowledge but with a little trial and error they are perfectly soveable.

The other two, Panechu and Guru Logic are again easy to play. Both of these puzzle games again have tutorials which show you how to achieve your goal. The story behind Guru Logic is unimpenetrable, however, the pure offbeat and crazy nature of the cutscenes have a certain endearing quality if you're a fan of quirky, mad Japanese stuff
