Apple Are Driving Me Crazy

I have bought Quick Time 6.5 so I can make 3gp files. However when the program is loaded I can not see a way of making them. It's driving me crazy as it's one of their selling points for the new 6.5. CRAZY IT'S DRIVING ME I TELL'S YA.

I have contacted Apple and they don't ever reply.

Please if anyone has it can you tell me if it is actually possible. Please any help would be gratefully received.

File>Export>

Export drop down box should have 3G in it, if that is what you are meaning.

Yes that's exactly what I mean. But there is no 3G option. There is about 10 others but 3G is not there.....

I will uninstall it all and then redownload it. Enter the reg key etc etc. Hopefully it just installed wrong or something. Perhaps I need a 3G codec or something.

OK I have done it!!! Now it says 3G on the export menu. I don't understand why it wasn't there before. Is there any chance it will dissappear again?

Anyway now that's sorted does anyone know why AVI's won't play in quicktime along with mpg files? And when I converted a mpeg file no sound was converted even though it plays sound originally. When you are in the convert menu it says there is no soundtrack for the movie. But there is?

An .avi file could be using the divx or xvid codecs. Download them and it should run in Media Player.
