Xbox Live headseat connector

Folks,
I'm looking to buy a set of these:

but I want to be able to use them with live, so I have some options:

1: Wear twosets of headsets, point the liveset to my mouth and use headset through tv to hear what people are saying on the sennheiser cans.

2: get some kind of adaptor that lets me plug the mic of the sennheiser's into the Xbox Live headset adaptor?

2 is the nicer way of doing it, anyone seen such an adaptor or has anyone tried plugging in a normal set of headphones into it ?

just thought or a potential third way:

Use the mic connector from Xbox Music maker with a 3.5->1/4" convertor - does anyone know of this Xbox Karaoke connector works with Live? I know the live headset works with Xbox Music maker.
