Painkiller?

My local shop has got Painkiller in for ?15. Is it actually any good? I've heard every sort of opinion possible on this title.

I like Serious Sam, and horror movies, if that helps at all.

For ?15 quid you cant go wrong. Nice bits of dark humour in it too when bigger enemies use the bodies of smaller ones as shields .

That's fortunate as Serious Sam + Horror + Physics and Eye Candy = Painkiller

It's a great little game... ultimately forgettable but at that price... YOU BUY!

Its a nice little shoot about... I don't spend hours on it but its a great 10 minute way of getting rid of a bit of aggression

Bah. By the time I got down there, they'd sold out. That'll teach me to have to ask questions before I buy things. But then again, I've got to be careful with money now after upgrading my computer...

Still, Play have got it for ?17, so all is not lost.
