Internation Superstar soccer for GB

Has any one got or played the winning eleven series for the gb and are what are they like??
Was it ever released in the uk?

The GBA Winning Eleven games were only released in Japan. The GBA ISS games that were released over here are completely different series.

Wanna get an sp and really want a decent footy game for it but guess theres nothing out there.

I've played the ISS GBA games and they're great - just like the SNES games if you ever played them (and they were regarded as the best football games a the time)

I've played the first ISS game on the GBA and it is extremely similar to ISS Deluxe on the SNES (which I adored at the time) with the addition of some surprisingly good commentary. I found the button layout rather uncomfortable though - particularly using L to dash.
