Ive just run another test after freeing up around 60mb of memory due to prpgrams running in the background.

Instead of incresing my 3Dmark01/03 score's it's actually decreased them.

03 by 11 points to be exact.

So much for tweaking XP and freeing up ram, eh?

I wouldn't expect ram to help raw benchmarks, but perhaps the fluidity of games (loading new areas etc)?

No, but it'd help because he's probably freed up a lot of CPU time.

Yeah, but it didn't help, that was my point. You'd have to have some right stonking **** installed there to affect it enough to show up on 3dmark?

My 01 test's, which i thought would show the most improvement, have lowered too.

It's onlt by a few points but after freeing up all that ram i expected my 01 score's to be increased by few point's at least.
