I have Nero 5, not used it for months due to installation problem, attached jpeg shows the 2 messages I get when trying to install, using search (for Nero & Ahead) I cannot find anything on my hard-drive from an old installation, ggrrrrr anyone else had the same problem ?

Most likely it is some left over registry settings. I'm not sure how to fix this without seeing your PC directly. Perhaps a registry cleaner program might help - I've not used any but I'm sure they are avalable. -
Yeah, you will need to regEdit the system. I know Norton Systemworks has a registery cleaner, but there are dedicated one on the net. Not sure how good they are though. I wouldn't recommend using regEdit without have some knowledge on how it works.Comment
