Best Place to Buy US Consoles

I know Play-Asia sell Jap PS2s, but where do you get US PS2s from? I've never been able to find a place (other than on this forum) that sells them.

Anyone have any ideas?

I import US consoles for loads of people, so I suppose I'm a good place to buy them. Postage is only ?23 for a console (PS2/Xbox...GC less) from US to UK in 3 days by UPS inc. tracking, cheaper than all other companies postages with inferior couriers/delivery times..

Thats a good price for the shipping I've been looking at getting one from the Rage or ncsx but shipping seems way over the top.

Got my Xbox from dvdbxoffice of all places when they first came out and wasn't obscenely priced. They still sell hardware. I can't remember exactly but I think the shipping was around the ?30 mark (don't quote me on that though)

I've got a spare US PS2 sitting around doing nothing if you are interested. Drop me a PM if you fancy it. It is one of the factory refurb units Goblin were doing ages ago. I've hardly used it since I've had it. Comes in a strange factory refurb cardboard box, not the normal retail box. Drop me a PM if you are interested.

If you're a collector, JAPAN has all the limited edition colored PS2s which you can't find here or in the US (I fancy the Ceramic or Pearl White), so if you intend to mod it, I'd get the jap consoles from play-asia... but that's just me.

I got a few xboxes from DVDBoxoffice and a PS-2 from NCSX. NCSX marked the item as damaged/repair so I paid no tax

Just a useful comment, if getting people to mark consoles down be weary of describing it as repaired goods, as the courier will most likely phone you up (no idea how they get your number) and ask for details to be emailed to customs at the centre where your parcel is, and you'll end up paying a lot of tax for it.

I wasn't actually after one, though I appreciate the offer Mr Bradbury. I was just wondering where people got them from, for future reference.

Actually, while I'm here, how do you avoid paying tax? With something as dear as a console surely someone like UPS would be a safer deal, even if you do have to pay all the customs charges.
