dreamcast LED's

just wondering if anyone can tell me if its possible to change the dreamcast LED's? Ive got a nice clear case for my dc, and am now hoping to change the standard orange LED to a PS2 style blue colour.

Has anyone done this before, and can give me some advice on how to go about doing this/where to get the LED from?

Pick up a 5mm low voltage LED from Maplin or similar. You need some Soldermop to take off the solder from the existing one, take note which way around it's fitted (-/+) and fit the next one the same way.

Maplin part no: JA30H is suitable

What saurian said. Although you can fix multiple colour LEDs to the machine. I done one that flashed through the colour spectrum, probably drove the user nuts but still it looked cool.

1) Open the DC
2) Snip the LED off
3) Solder a new one on
