    Website Design

    Hi,

I am about to start making a buisness orientated website and needed some advice on what packages you would recommend. Take in mind I have never used HTML and need a package that can allow me to create a professional site and I need some decent packages that would allow me to create nice logos etc. Also need something to display a calender to show availablity etc.

The purists will tell you to learn HTML and get Notepad out, but **** that. "Obtain" a copy of Dreamweaver and start playing.

Or pay someone to do it. Web designers are so hard up for work, they'll do it for peanuts (roasted).

Im not huge on website design, did some porn sites a few years ago inc flash stuff.

Overall for a GUI interface most recommend Dreamweaver, then theres Adobe's GoLive! or just use notepad for straight html.

For images, its either Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, personally i preffer photoshop.

If you can let me know what type of site, eg ecommerce etc, maybe i can help more.
