    Quick Time Movies on Xbox?

    unfourtunately the Xbox Media Center still doesn't seem to support the Quick Time format.

    are there any alternatives to get them running on my Xbox???

    the very latest CVS build might, but apart from that erm, thats about all there is for media playing on the xbox

              Have alook here http://www.gueux.net/modules/news/ a very good site. All in French though. have a play with google tranlastion tools etc. Everything you want is here.

                Xbox media center does play Quicktime files. Just no sound comes out of it...

                    If you want the latest XBMC with all the different QT codecs installed (giving you full sound and video for all QT versions) then PM me and I'll send it to you. Will need to be over MSN or something as it's about 20mb.

                    I have about thirty QT trailers in a big playlist on my Xbox atm; trust me, the support is there and it works perfectly. Typically, the standard distro doesn't include the right codecs, hence the confusion.

                      sounds good to me! i couldn't find the "CVS" player anyway and also have installed the XBMC player already

                          You may find it useful to acquire Canopus Procoder and use that to convert QuickTime movies to another format.
