    does anyone know if there is any way of the panasonic gamecube to play uk pal GC games

        Is it true that the Panasonic Q scratches CD's and DVD's?

        If so, I won't bother picking one up again...

          Panasonic Qs dont scratch disks.

          This is just another example of the stupid **** people spread about, one person probably had his/her machine squashed in transit causing misalignment of the drive assy.

          Next thing you know ALL Qs suddenly magically scratch disks

          The machine is built in layers with only the rear panel providing any kind of vertical support to the assembly - the machine's side panels can be warped by damage in transit (heavy objects resting on the machine for ages etc)
          This is the only time I have seen drive problems with the machine - it's not a design fault.
