DIY Xbox VGA?

Hi all

I've seen the guide on xbox-scene for making up an xbox vga cable, but it mentions having a custom bios that only works on old consoles.

Now that the xbox can have a prog scan dashboard, will an custom made VGA cable work on an xbox in a similar manner to the excellent cube VGA cable?

Lik sang have a cheap component to VGA box now for about ?40 and it supports progressive scan too, might be the best way
