The TV I've been using for my consoles has always had this problem when running PAL PS1 games. The top right of the screen seems to judder slightly every second and there is a faint buzzing sound when the judder happens. It's not an old TV either, infact I noticed this screen issue when we originally had the TV downstairs when we bought it. The PS1 is one of the original models though (not the PSone), and i'm not sure if they changed the output for the PSone.
I do not get this problem with NTSC PS1 games, nor when a PAL game goes into a high resolution mode (such as the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure loading screens, amongst a couple of other capcom games title screens). My Gamecube and DC do not have this problem either, when running in 50 or 60hz.
I've tried scart leads, and they dont help it. Some bootdiscs feature an option to boot any game into ntsc or pal, so I was thinking of trying that if I had no other options. Any ideas?
