I saw this 2 player arcade driving game at Las Vegas in London on Wednesday and it looks really good.

Is this out for any console yet or gonna gome out soon on any console?

Also, is Battle Gear 3 on on the PS2?

Yeah, Wangan Midnight came out on the PS2 ages ago (JPN-only). I dunno how it compares to the coin-op though.

BG3 is also a JPN-only PS2 release.

The latest WM Isnt out on PS2 yet but the first is, the latest one is called something like WM : Maximum Tune not sure if there much different.

All the frantic europop tunes has really got me into wanting some some hyper driving action.

I don't mind it being Japanese.
I've still got an original 10000 series Japanese PS2 unmodded!

personally i think Battle Gear 2 has the best physics of any drift racer, 3 has changed the physics completely, i preffer BG2's. Music wise there both a bit crap i think they mostly use rock style music and it doesnt create an atmosphere anything like the music in Initial D does.

There's a good review on the site which I fully agree with. Great game but while prettier and with some improvements not as good as it's predecessor imo.

*Only played TXR and TXR3 (US versions) so maybe there's some difference between the versions.
