US to UK Release Delays? (How long?)

Just wondering what the average kinda time delay is for a US developed game to make it over here to the UK?

I've always been a big fan of the NBA Street series. #3 is promised to be released in the US in April '05. When might I realistically expect to see it over here on PAL dya think?

It depends on the game. Some games we get in PAL the same week as USA, some game we'll get 2 years later. There really is no set timespan.

I don't think its as bad as it used to be. Rather then months its now only weeks, if that. I believe we are getting GT4 about 2 weeks after the US release, we're getting Halo 2 just 3 days after, and we got Splinter Cell PT and R63 BA within 2 weeks of the US release. I think with Xbox, now that developers don't have to convert to play at 50Hz (I think) means it less hassle and time.

EA games, particularly the sports line-up, do seem to be fairly well synchronised, so I wouldn't worry too much about Street 3, I imagine you'll see it pretty near to the US release.

Dunno about the average, but 2-3 days is about the absolute minimum due to games being released midweek in the states, but on Friday's in the UK.

Animal Crossing is coming later this year woot This one is an exception though.

There is definitely something wrong with Nintendo for not making this one an online game... Ohh well. 2 years delay, and no extras for the wait would be a crime. Duh, got my copy from Canada much earlier anyway.
