I've been thinking about selling off most of my more collectible PS1/PS2 games and was looking for a little advice.
I was thinking of eBaying them as a bundle. The pack would include a chipped silver (UK) PS2 with controllers etc. I'd also include the hard drive and network adapter, the HD software, memory cards etc, etc.
I've started making a list of the games, most of them are listed here:
Playstation
Final Fantasy: Origins NTSC/UC Final Fantasy: Chronicles NTSC/UC
Final Fantasy: Anthology NTSC/UC Final Fantasy VII NTSC/UC Final Fantasy VIII NTSC/UC Final Fantasy IX NTSC/UC
Final Fantasy VII PAL Final Fantasy VIII PAL Final Fantasy IX PAL Final Fantasy Tactics NTSC/UC Chrono Cross NTSC/UC Xenogears NTSC/UC Vagrant Story NTSC/UC
Ico NTSC/UC Shadow of The Colossus NTSC/UC Amplitude PAL Rez PAL Guitaroo Man PAL
I think that these are most of the more collectible games that I'll be getting rid of. I'm sure that other stuff will turn up before sale too lol.
The games are generally in mint condition apart from the odd one which I've been unable to find in mint condition. Most were bought new by me and are the original releases rather than the Greatest Hits/Platinum re-releases.
Any advice on what I should be looking for here would be appreciated.
Evolution: Can't help you with too many of the prices, i'm completely out of touch, but there's one or two there I might be after if you decide to shove them on the trading forums here.

Thanks,
I'm completely out of touch with the prices of these games now!! Used to be right up to date with the prices but I'm a little out of it now.
Assuming that they are all original releases these would be the sort of prices i'd expect to sell em for.

I'm guessing that you're quoting "shop prices" there? I was really looking for the collector price for them all as a bundle.
I've been watching eBay over the past couple of months or so and I've seen sales prices like these:
Vagrant Story (NTSC) - ?37.00
Xenogears (NTSC) - ?84.00??? (bit of a shock with that one)
Front Mission 3 (PAL) - +?40
Rhapsody (NTSC) - +?40 (you have to love those collectible nippon ichi games)
I also saw a complete US collection of the PS1 Final Fantasy games going for nearly ?150.00.
I know that I'd get a lot more if I held on and sold them separately like this but I'm happy to let them go a lot cheaper to clear some room in my house.
They are the sort of prices that i've paid for the games. No prices are set in stone, i've seen the likes of Front Mission go for £5-£10 and Rhapsody's value fell sharpish after the re-issue. I picked up Vagrant Story on here (i think) with the guide for just over a tenner.
A lot of the prices did drop when Game Quest Direct did limited reprints. It does seem a little strange that people would still pay 2 or 3 times as much for the original releases even though they are identical??
I'm not sure whether there are just people who don't know about Game Quest or whether they are specialist collectors. Either way, if people are willing to pay that much for the original games and are happy with what they get, I'm certainly happy to help them out!
I believe that they are in the process of a reprint of some really collectible games such as Radiant Silvergun and also a load of Square Enix games.

That's madness if you saw any of those go for that much.
In fact I just sold my original Xenogears for ?25 - and I usually get a bit more than the average as I sell lots at a time and people like to buy in bulk or feel their buying from a collector.
OK guys, wondering if you can help me out here. I have the following up on eBay but I'm concerned - although mint and cheaper than anything else marked up as new, they aren't sealed.
I've kept these things so perfect and yet people seem content to throw away ??? just for a bit of plastic throwaway wrapping or to just get some mangled, scratched piece of crap for a few ??? less. Does this mean I'm going to have to drop the price of these to the used range just top get them shifted?
GC (all PAL):
Lego Star Wars (the first one) ?22.99
The Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker (original packaging with gold box and Master Quest disc) ?23.99
Metroid Prime (original packaging) ?15.99
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes ?10.49
Pikmin (original packaging) ?12.99
Pikmin 2 ?29.49
Super Mario Sunshine (original including limited edition purple case) ?18.49
GBA (Euro/UK packaging):
Astro Boy Omega Factor ?8.49
The Legend of Zelda - NES Classic ?14.99
Metroid Fusion ?9.50
On top of that I have the following N64 PAL titles - again, absolutely mint and unmarked but looking at the recent sales, N64 stuff doesn't seem so hot - even stuff that's not to appear on the Virtual Console for a while. Any idea how much I should put them up for?
Paper Mario
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros
The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time

If there not new, there not new, be honest. If you make it clear that there in perfect nick than they should go for a fair bit anyway. TBH though, your BIN prices seem a bit hefty... metroid prime for ?15, pushing it a bit aren't we?
Paper Mario should go for ?50, I think MM is about ?30-40, not entirely sure. I recently got ?8 for a copy of Mario 64 in pretty awful condition which was more than I expected - mine was an original mind you, not PC. I think Smash Bros is quite rare, ?20-30 maybe?
Yes, I suppose MP for ?15 is pushing it... but then it is the non PC version. I also suppose that anyone that after the non PC version would get it new and sealed. I'll drop the price, thanks.
I paid ?80 for Paper Mario. Mind you I suppose it'll be far cheaper when it comes out on the VC so best to shift it now.
Y'know, if I had put these up a year or so ago, I can't help feeling I'd have got more for them as the VC wasn't looming.
