I usually order from Gameplay.com as 9/10 times it'll arrive on the Thrusday, plus it's cheaper than the shops.

It was released last week here in australia... I'm playing it now. Bloody awesome racer, every other car racing game I play now seems to slow, even at the same mph. I bought SRS on the same day, and that game plays a lot like BO, with even a boost, and it feels extremely sluggish because I'm so used to the insane speed of BO3.

It should go without saying, but BO3 is definately a must own game.

However, if you have both an Xbox and a PS2 and you've got Xbox Live, get the Xbox version. The biggest reason is the custom soundtrack. The music is annoying, as it is in most racers, and I can't seem to find an option to shut off the music in the PS2 version. Xbox ver supports custom soundtrack, which probably also lets you disable the music.

If any of you are getting it for live remember this, ntsc and pal versions cannot be played online together so if you get it from the us you won't be able to play ppl here that have the pal version.

You can play other regions, just not 50 hz vs 60 hz, isn't that correct?

The game is playable with players from around the world, though those with NTSC copies of the game won't be able to play against PAL users due to the speed and timing changes inherent in making a game for both standards.

                  From gamespot review

I dunno if gamespot have forgot about the pal60hz options though.

                      thank god for that!

although i doubt there would ever have been an issue whereby ntsc players couldn't play against pal60 players

hey here's a thought - if a game is uk, but i set my xbox to ntsc (using enigmah), will it then connect to us servers? if not that, then what if the xbox region was set to 1(usa) instead of 4(uk)?

i'm not sure if a us game will specifically look for us servers, or whether the us xbox live setup will do that itself. anyone know?

ginza you nonce i have a us xbox so a PAL version would do me NO good at all would it?

Unless the game was multi region but thats unlikely.
just as a side note my name is dylan, you fool
