just go for the cheapest then I guess, think it's tiscali.co.uk ?15.99 a month ? you won't need to worry about download limits or anything.

I have a question myself about Xbox live... Can 50hz gamers play online with NTSC and PAL60 gamers? Or is it incompatible?

think I'm right in saying it varies from game to game, not with Burnout 3, but sure I've done it with no probs with PGR2 & RSC2 on many occassions.

How do they manage to do this? Aren't 50hz games running in a different frame rate and refresh rate, and thus speed?

In most games I've seen, they have separate servers for 50hz and 60hz players, because one is slower. How does this work on Xbox?

Because the XBox game's speed is independent from the frame rate, just like a PC. PC gamers play each other and they all probably have different frame rates and yet it never matters.

Burnout 3 is the only game that requires different servers because the game connects to EA's network and not Microsofts. The EA network links back into Live for freinds lists and gamertags only. This was part of the EA Live deal. General consensus at the moment seems to be though that the MS network is far better.

It can easily be done . You need a wireless router or access point (router would make more sense) and a gaming or ethernet bridge. I'd recommend trying to buy any old tat though, go for something that has been tried and tested with Live.

                  and this:

Total cost ?81. You might find it a few pence cheaper from places like ebuyer, but the service from broadbandbuyer.co.uk is first class.

you plug the wireless device in to your xbox then it will talk to the wireless router as that will be the reciever
