I'm afraid you missed the beta sign-up some time ago, although they may be taking on more people, would have to look mate.

There's no doubt that the engine is probably the most advanced for MMOs, the quality of the characters is quite amazing. It's also riddled with niggling bugs, so I should think, as you say, there will be a lot of optimisations between now and retail. To be honest, I was fine in places where I was on my own, it's with other people it struggles. Either SOE are having their usual latency problems when the game needs to contact the server a lot (for positional date on other people) or it's just taking a tanking due to the sheer complexity of player characters.

I'd bet largely on latency issues for now, purely because people tend to warp around a bit (it's the age old SOE problem of positioning, whereby you think you're standing it front of someone else, yet on their screen it's entirely different... don't know if many other people are aware of this, but my cousin and I used to play Starwars Galaxies from the same house, so it stuck out like a sore thumb).

Has anyone tried fighting in a party yet, if yes how well does it work.

If any of you want to party later I will be on from 6pm my name character is called Marciano (apparently in spanish this means Alien from Mars) someone on the game told me

Right lads, I met up with a clan mate last night, didn't realise we were all on separate noob islands to start with (I was on Refuge 7, for eg). Joined the good guys and got a ship over to Qeynos city, and have a room at the Inn in Castleview hamlet.

Tis all very impressive like, I'll look you up later tonight mike.
