Best router for Xbox live and OSX

Right, thinking about giving up on ICS, it just won't work (see other posts in this forum).
Anybody out there using an Apple Mac & Playing Xbox live? What routers are you using, how easy are thet to set up?
    I'm looking for a cheapy!!

Any router will work with OSX and routers that support uPnP will work with Xbox Live (it's like automatic port forwarding)

    I use a DLink DSL 504 but they're a bit old now...

If your last post in the other topic is a good indication, you finally got it working with ICS, didn't you?

Anyway, I use a DLink DSL 604+ (wireless... I love my Powerbook ^^) and it's worked perfectly with everything I've ever tried to use it with. This includes several PCs running various versions of Linux and Windows, my Mac and my XBox.

It cost me 150 euros about 1 year ago (a real bargain if you ask me), which is how much most wireless routers cost nowadays. If you don't care about wi-fi (you don't have a laptop, do you?), good Ethernet-only routers cost roughly 100 euros (?60-70).

Be careful though. A good number of routers don't include a modem, and this is only vaguely hinted at on the box. As a result, they're cheaper, but they'll be useless to you unless you buy an Ethernet modem alongside. Make sure the router you buy includes a modem!

Cheers, you 2. Yup I got it sorted and it work great. Will probably save up for a modem/router. But in the meantime, I'm happy with this.
