Help me choose Burnout 3 version

Id get the Xbox version due to the custom soundtracks, the music really is awful by default and I pity anyone who is stuck with the PS2 version because of it. The controls are fine by default on the Xbox, the triggers are for brake and accellerate and work very well.

Actually, I just turn off the music completely, which is better than a custom soundtrack (which I find very overrated mind you) because I don't have a better soundtrack myself, and the music distracts my concentration anyway. So I prefer to hear engine noises.

Just to quell a misconception, you CAN switch off the music in the PS2 version.

I don't like using analog triggers for accelerating. It's more comfortable for me to press X, and I have quick access to aftertouch mode and reverse cam with index fingers. This feels more comfortable for me. What ****s me is that I have to have a dual shock 2 controller in, because I prefer digital control. B2 allowed digital control. I don't like pressing in a button as deep as it can go (the very reason I don't like analog triggers). In a driving game, I'll either want my accelerator to be ALL THE WAY down, or ALL THE WAY off (I never release the accelerator around corners, I just drift at full speed). So there's no need for 256 levels of analog for me. I'm pissed off there's no digital control actually...

I picked the PS2 version because I didn't want to pay live subscription fees to play it. When I get enough games worth playing online on the Xbox I may consider it...

I am kinda surprised there's no manual control though. How can including it hurt? At worse people won't use it. If the game did do manual though, I'm not sure how I would like driving with triggers...

Analog triggers better cos you can hold the revs when going round corners etc, no need to brake.

The game does reward you for drifting (tap the brake) you know...

I'll buy it this afternoon (out here yesterday), and right now the xbox version wins, but I expect some demo pods in the store, so I'll see...
