I think they're special non standard ones - you can buy them in GAME though as far as I know.

from what I remember its about ?7 - they are GAME brand ones not official. I just happened to notice a couple of weeks ago and was quite surprised. I have never seen the batteries on sale anywhere else and I reckon Nintendo would charge far more than ?7 if they do a replacement service.

Unfortunately GAME don't sell the batteries that go in the game carts. That was the one you were after, right?
What they do sell is the internal battery for the SP H?W which is what I think csuzw has seen.

Out of interest, how did it die? Usually they have a life of many, many years. It's a legitimate copy, right? The easiest way to check is does it have Nintendo printed on the connectors that go into the GBA? It's white and near the left side. You can see it without taking it apart, just angle it a bit.

oh whoops - didn't read the thread properly, sorry.

You might be able to find an answer on the EZFA forums - http://bbs.gba-toys.com (I think) - it gives instructions for replacing their flash cart batteries - it might be the same process for legit carts too.

I'm also surprised thats its flat though - I was under the impression that the batteries charges while in the GBA so this shouldn't be a prob for a long time
