Winning Eleven 8 Help with imported Disk

Hi, i purchased a copy of Winning Eleven 8 from e-Bay but I cannot play on it. Can anyone tell me if I need to get my PS2 chiped or if there is anything i can use to play imported games? At the moment everything is in Japanese, I got sent another disk with it for the english version but I do not understand what I have to do with it.

I need instructions off anyone .... please!!!!

You need to get your PS2 chipped I'm afraid.

Unfortunately as g-funk says you need to get it chipped which could be a tad more difficult seeing as Sony got that court ruling making it illegal in this country now. Though if you know where to look I'm sure you can get that sorted.

On the other hand, any chance yopu can get yr money back or sell it on to a friend as pes4 will be out in a month and will obviously be a more tweaked and better version of we8 and without the dreaded slowdown (touch wood)?

As far as I'm aware the PS2 version of Pro Evo 4 still has the slowdown, apparently Konami gave Sony Pro Evo 4 back in august just after WE8 was released so they wouldn't have had time to fix it.
