From experience of working there it means the offer ended at close of business yesterday. With it being Wednesday it means crappy new marketing day, hence end of old marketing and start of new. Ring them to be certain as the Manchester store is a bit slack, but strictly speaking it should be finished.

Well they should word it better. Go and do the dead Fig and if they say no take a print out of the offer "Offer ends Wednesday 15th September 2004." It says ends, not ends before. Threaten them.

This is the company that lets you trade in any 5 games for a new one so frankly the brains at the head office department aren't exactly all there.
And last time it was any 4 games plus ?1.
Another error is it says "any game", cue people wanting to buy a ?50 Time Crisis 3 and Gun pack and staff being unable to do it as the tills have been amended to allow trade ins for ?8 on any game, hence 5x?8=?40 game free. What if Steel Batallion was available???

yeah they buggerd it up with me as i wanted Disgaea which there selling for 30 quid at the momnet i was buying rainbow six black arrow as well so they gave me that for 7.50 just so the till would be happy cant complain though

Just thought I'd let you know that I went yesterday and there was no problem. I even went to CEX first and bought a few crappy games for ?3 each. Total cost of Burnout 3? ?12!!! Bonus!

heh, our store has a sign in the window "due to certain competitors taking unfair advantage of our 5 game trade in promo we reserve the right to refuse certain titles" so guess that means I can't fob em off with complete ****e
