    n00bish PS2 memory card Q.

Can you save PSone games on a PS2 card? I always assumed you couldn't, but recently I've been told you can, and the Suikoden 3 manual seems to suggest you can too. I would try it, but I'm also not sure that even if you can, it won't screw up my PS2 saves, as they're multi-region.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

No, you can't normally save PSone saves on a PS2 card.

Hmm. Suikoden 3, states that you can transfer saves from Suikoden 2 into 3, by transferring the file from 2, onto the PS2 memory card. How would that work? Maybe I misunderstood!

Maybe you load the psone save from within Suikoden3, then it saves it out to a PS2 MC?.

Have a look on gamefaqs perhaps.

You can transfer saves from your PS1 memory card to your PS2 memory card on the memory card manager screen on your PS2's browser. That must be what it refers to in the instruction book.

Very handy feature, actually. I must have about 5 memory card's worth of PS1 saves on my PS2 card.
