you can get suitable leads for the Cube & Q, PM Saurian, he does them, you can't connect up a PAL Xbox

I thought you could buy the X2VGA cable to do the xbox?

You can but it only works on import/modded Xbricks.

Try the Hori Upscan Converter 2 for hooking an xbox to a PC monitor. Tried it and it works. Also works with PS2s and import GameCubes. Bare in mind that I was using a 17" monitor. You can get them at either Play Asia, Lik Sang or Game Focus.

You can get a unmodded PAL XBox to work using the Agent Under Fire trick.

That does mean dirtying your soul in having to buy it, though.

yeah, but think ahead if you want go XBL. if you already have an account and go online with the Xbox sitched to NTSC mode it could lock up your account in no time!

Is that true? I mean i thought that Live detected whether you have a chip or not, with the AUF hack you obviously dont have a chip in the machine.

actualy you can change the videomode independant of the region, and you wont get banned for it.

You wont get banned anyway, I have a modded machine that I use on Live whether its in US or PAL mode all the time. As long as you don't go online with a chip enabled then your fine

I thought that was exactly how Strider had his machine banned.

I was also paranoid about leaving homebrew files all over the disk, but apprently Live still doesn't look for stuff like that. I'd have thought it would eventuallt tho.

Also, replaced disks are meant to be detected by Live, even if they have been locked.

It's all just rumour, as far as I know the only sure way of getting banned is to have your chip enabled.

I've got a machine with a 120gb drive that I use for live, had it set to pal and ntsc and its been fine.
