Do USA Cubes output an S-video signal?

I'm looking to get a new lead for my US cube ( a secondary one so I don't have to unplug the Saurian beast everytime I move the cube ). Now I'm 100 % aware that PAL Cube's don't output an s-video signal, but do US ones?

Cheers, I use the superb quality RGB on my main TV but I can't afford a second just because I can't be arsed to unplug all the gubbins!

What is the picture quality like? Much worse than the modded RGB lead?

      Thanks

I think you would notice a difference at first, but its certainly playable. And s-video leads must be cheap aswell i'd imagine.

Yeah as they're useless here and no 3rd parties knew on release day they sell for a bargain price of 3 quid!

At least one will be better than putting up with the awful NTSC composite signal.

S-video looks decent on the GC, i used it for a few months before Component. I can't say there isn't a difference because there is but unless you're TV is bigger than 28" you won't really see much of a drop in quality. If you're on a 32" or higher then it can look a little messy, especially with Reds for some reason.

Jcee, I have a superb high quality one which I used previously to buying an RGB cable from Saurian.

I no longer need it, if your interested PM me and we could work out a deal

I'll agree. The jump to RGB from S-video on a Cube is far less than to S-video from composite. The reds are a little fuzzy on S-video, but aside from that, it's a very good quality picture. Took me a while to spot the improvement after going to Saurian RGB.

It came today and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality- well worth four quid if you want a better picture without splashing out.
