Camera Memory

Hi,

Just purchased a Sony DSC-T1 camera online and expect to receive it tommorow hopefully. However, I am aware it comes with a 32MB Duo Memory Stick. How many pictures can this store at high quality (5 MP)? Also, how many MB does a 5MP picture usually take? Not sure wheather to get a 512MB or 256MB Pro Duo card.

Where are you buying your memory from? I`m on the lookout for somewhere cheap, the best I`ve found for sd cards is 7dayshop.com ?17.99 for 256mb

Your looking at around 3MB per photo at 5MP.

Try ebuyer, they do cheap cards.

Not sure about SD cards, as I haven't been looking for them. The Sony Memory Stick Duo cards are quite pricey :|

Just received my digital camera. Really impressed, however a few niggles:

1. When I look through the viewfinder before taking a pic the view looks grainy and relativly crap. After I take the pic and view it, the pic looks good.

2. I can't see through the viewfinder at night when taking a pic!?
