Freeloader for PStwo?

I have just checked the new ps2 design and it now has a top loader cd tray so do you think it would be possible to make a freeloader disc for it?

Shouldn't you buy the NTSC console then? I imagine a good deal of the games you can get PAL versions of are available in America too, but correct me if I'm wrong - I don't own a PS2.

I have got loads of Pal games so rebuying all the games in NTSC would cost me a fortune and now its illegal to chip your PS2 there is any other options left. So to be able to pay PAL and NTSC on one PS2 is a must unless I can get a NTSC PS2 really cheap

Ah, you should come to Glasgow. I think there are still stores that chip PS2s without any fuss and hopefully it'll be the same for the new model.

Hehe, yeah, Glasgow is in it's own little world where law doesnt matter. Chipped Ps2's being illegal now has probably made them easier to get up here

wonder if someone could make a psxchange disc for ps2 as that could work with the new ps2 design ?

Isn't there allready a swap disc that works with modified PS2's? Wouldn't that just run on the new ones?

Yes there is a disc like that .. kind of.. its the magic disc's that come with the flip lid.
Im thinking there may be a way to force open the lid like you use to be able to do on the 1st gen ps1's. i.e stick some bluetack on the opening switch, inside teh disc bay.
