I'm having problems with Macafee!

For some reason it won't allow me to update privacy service and always says something about the email address.

You cannot update your product with the email address specified. Please login with the same email address & password you used during registration.

Is it saying this when you log into the website?

I have to admit I didn't get this problem but it kept trying to re-register my e-mail address offline for several days, I just kept cancelling and eventually it stopped doing it - still gets the updates though.

If you can't resolve it try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

just when i hit update when i right click macafee security centre in the tray and update privacy.
