"Essential" Gamecube games via Progressive Scan

Hey there,

I just purchased a new plasma, so I'm hoping to get some more games for my systems.

Im looking for US/Japanese cube, US/PAL Xbox and all region PS2 games.

So, what do I need?

For the cube on a plasma you simply must have FZero GX and Viewtiful Joe.

Saw these on marcus' plasma and they both blew my head right off.

Remember to hold down B on those Cube games to access the sometimes hidden PS mode.

Erm, Metroid Prime looks lovely in PS. Most games do look great on a properly setup plasma, as Markalr says Id take a look at our reviews, pick some out and come back to us if need be on them. The sale forum is also littered with cheap stuff you might have missed out on.

F-Zero GX on a great big Plasma is like an extra big slice of gaming heaven.

I sold my F-Zero, but the demo (on the Mario Kart bonus disc) running in progressive looks stunning on my LCD.

Super Smash Brothers Melee also looks very good.

I just got my Cube component cable this morning, some of the progressive games are so good I'm considering coughing up the moolah for a VGA-to-Component transcoder so I can play my Dreamcast games (nope, my TV doesn't have a VGA input). Others only look marginally better to me (Burnout 2 for example).

Those already mentioned are the best on the Cube. Windwaker looks lovely too.

On the XBox Ninja Gaiden and Rallisport Challenge 2 look simply stunning. Soul Calibur 2, Amped 2 and Line of Contact are great to show off 720p, but generally all games look much better.

Prince of Persia and PN03 look pretty awesome in progressive as well as the rest.

Pikmin and Pikmin 2 do too.

Just in the process of buying a prog scan compatible TV and already have the component cables ready and waiting.Cant wait to try out all of my games in prog scan mode.
