King of fighters dream match 1999 DC-X?

I have a Pal DC (in Australia) and want to play my USA NTSC copy of KOF Dream Match 99.

Utoia doesn't work, gameshark and action Replay CDX do not work (although the Gameshark CDX seems to get close...)

I just plug the DC in normally (RCA plugs: yellow Video, red and white audio)

All my other import games boot fine with any of the other discs.

Anyway, has anyone booted KOF DM 1999 with DC-X?

I play US KOF Dream Match '99 on a PAL DC using the DC-x with no problems whatsoever

Thanks. Have you ever tried it with utopia or gameshark CDX? I don't want to blow US$20 on a boot disc if my game is different or something....

Sorry mate, I've had a DC-X since day one and never had a need to use any of the other discs.

DOH! I got a DC-x and it still doesn't boot! DCX is still useful to boot some other games (Like W Impact) in 60 Hz, though.

          I don't know what's wrong. It's a genuine game for sure

Are you sure you didn't get the CD-X (action replay)?

I have a PAL DC and a US copy of DM 99 and it works fine with Codebreaker and gameshark. I think your game may be the problem really.

Edit: Btw, Codebreaker will boot all games in 60hz, all non pal games that is.
