DC Related Help Needed.

Well i've finally got my mitts on Shenmue for the DC and no doubt you can guess my delight as it arrived this morning. It's the American version so i threw my boot disk in there and did as normal but then i found an issue, after i swapped the disks over the boot loading screen would get to 95, 96 or 97% and then freeze.

Just wondered if i was the only one with this problem and if not how could it be fixed?

I'm gathering you're using the Utopia Boot Disc, since you say it freezes after loading to a certain percentage. I would recommend getting and using DC-X instead, it's alot more reliable and can boot all imports in 60Hz on a PAL machine. Or maybe you could get a new version of Utopia, but it's worth it in the long run to get DC-X.

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for putting this in the wrong forum to start with.

I've tried it now with a gameshark disk and it loads but a quarter of the screen (at the top) is just unused and the picture is bumped down the screen. Going to have a look into this DC-X deal.
