TV's (again) urgent(ish)

Me mate wants to buy a new TV (Max is ?300 - 400).
What's the best he can get? He wants 100mhz, RGB, compatible with American consoles etc.
I think I read about someone getting component or progressive for this price - but, can't find the thread...for use with usa xbox.

Have a look at Toshiba's multi-award winning 28ZD26 Strata.

It's an excellent gaming TV as it does PAL, SECAM, NTSC, progressive Scan and 100Hz and has a stunning picture.

You should be able to pick one up online for around ?400.

Got one myself, does NTSC prog scan.

Don't bother using 100Hz, just leave it set on progressive all the time for best results.

Actually, he's got ?600. Anything better he can get? 32"?

I don't think you'll find the 32" model for much less than ?900.

Do a search on eBay for '32ZD26'. I'm sure you could get one brand new with 12 months warranty for around ?600.
