motherboard recommendations

looking for recommendation of a decent motherboard i've got a gigabyte ga-7dxr and just changed graphics card today and noticed a few capacitors are raised and stuff coming out. will it last much longer ?

had this one for 4 years so after something decent, till i upgrade to athlon 64 next year ?

is the nforce 2 ultra 400 chipset any good ?

have looked at the Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro 2 nForce2 Ultra (Socket A) Motherboard or the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe nForce2 ?

what you guys using on here, not overclocking or anything.

I'm using an Asus A8V deluxe WiFi thingy - loving it so far - don't think it fits what you're looking for as its Socket 939 so Athlon 64 only - cost around ?90 as far as I remember.

Only thing I would say about nForce boards is that there USB stuff is dodgy - probably fixed by now but I d o know there were problems and I definitely experienced them.

Go for the Abit NF7-S v2.0 (with 200Mhz FSB support). I got one for a mate and it was grand for overclocking.

A note for all, keep away from the Abit AN7, it is poo.
