Massive PS2 vs Xbox gaming Dilema! Plz Advise!

In short: I need BOTH Street Fighter 3rd Strike & GTA San Andreas!

Will SF3 get a PAL PS2 release or will GTA San Andreas get an Xbox release?

    Help is much appreciated here!

I'm sure SF3 will probably get a standalone release seeing as Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition or whatever it was called was released standalone in PAL land. And San Andreas, will be out on PS2 first, and Xbox later. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't GTA SA even been announced for Xbox yet?

No GTA:SA for Xbox announced yet as far as I know, but it has been announced for the PC - estimated Q2 2005

That is a long time to wait for another version...

I guess I will have to either wait for SF3 on the PS2, or get a chipped console :S

              (Gameplay.com prices)

              Xbox - ?99 + SF3 ?27 = ?126
              PS2 (the new style) - ?105 + GTA ?30 = ?135

Obviously the price is too close to be a deciding factor so i'd say just get the console you want more OTHER games from. Alternatively get a modded PS2 and pick up a JPN or USA SFcollection.

You'll need to add a memory card to the cost of the PS2 too.

If GTA:SA and SFIII are the only games you are really after, I'd get either a second hand chipped PS2 (plenty appear on this board from time to time) or a PS2 and a DC for SFIII (which are cheap as chips now).
