Need a universal adaptor for a SNES PSU

Hope someone can put this one to rest for me! Bought something called a Nacitek snes game saver a couple of years ago. Allows you to save at any point during a snes game, and also doubles as an import converter. Takes batteries to save games for short periods (3-4 hours). However, if you leave it plugged in to the mains, it will save your save for as long as you need it. Problem is, it is NTSC, so to use it on my PAL snes, need 2 adaptors. 1 that will accept my PAL psu one end (female) with an NTSC male plug the other end to plug into the game saver. And 1 with a NTSC female and a PAL male. Hope that makes sense....not very techno minded! Sent loads of mails to people on the net with no joy to date. Any help would be much appreciated!

Just look at the power requirements and find a matching PSU in the high street. You can usually get away with the ratings being very slightly off.

Try Dixons or Argos for one of those multi switching jobbies.

      One of these, right?

PAL and NTSC SNESs have different power requirements so it wouldn't work with a PAL PSU anyway.

Instead of using the pass-through cable, is it possible to just connect both separately to the mains? Assuming it uses a US SNES power supply, you could just do what yashiro suggested and buy a PSU like the one in this topic:

That's the one! It actually works really well, but you have to learn where best to save, or you may loose the sound/music until the end of that particular level. I've got a similar power supply, but it doesn't have a connector that fits. I'll have to check out the Argos ones. Running them both seperately makes sense though.....providing the circuit is not on some kind of a loop, i.e., the game saver has a power input (from the PSU) and an output lead that plugs into the PSU on the SNES. Worth a try though. Cheers!
