Super Famicom rgb?

Does the japanese Super Famicom out rgb as standard or does it need to be modded?

Yep, as standard. Use a PAL Gamecube RGB lead for full RGB from the box.

NP. Just to clear up (as this comes up a lot):

The Jpn SFC needs just the above cable. The PAL SNES needs this cable but with the capacitors inside removed and re-wired. There are loads of threads with the full info on this.

And the US/Japanese SNES Jr. machines only output composite as standard.
